This adaptable shrub grows in full sun or part shade. It can handle the heat, drought and wet soil. It makes an excellent foundation shrub with it's rounded form and evergreen foliage. New growth is coppery-red maturing to a blue-green. A member of the witch hazel family, it produces petite red flowers in the winter. Exceptional resistance to disease and insects. 3-4' tall and 4-5' wide at maturity.
